It may take a month (or a year) to get highly placed for good keywords, but just getting indexed takes no time at all. I was showing someone that this is true. I created a post calls "<strong>How do I mail a zebra</strong>", a phrase no one will google, and I was indexed less than 6 hours after posting. So your ideas are really considerable to get traffic.
